Labels: This is a photograph of a painting in the process. It doesn't even exist as a finished painting. Sometimes I photograph while the wet paint is still moving around the paper and/or drying.

Marble and Ice

This picture seems smoother and more gentle and covers the whole of the paper.

Acrylic and Ink

This is the first time I used acrylic paint on the paper and then added the ink. I was surprised how the lines changed. I haven't been able to duplicate this effect.

Cavernous

This is my favorite painting so far. I just like the composition without knowing why. If it looks like the opening to a new experience, then so be it.

Holiday Colors

It was time for the holidays and I needed a painting that would compliment a quilt that was haning on the wall. The quilt has all these colors and more!

Triage

This is one of my first paintings in which I discovered the magic of wet ink creating it's own work on wet paper.

About Me

My photo
Marian's Inks
I'm many things but here, and now, on this blog, I'm a painter. I've heard a lot about blogs and decided to take advantage of a friend's expertise and patience so now I have one of my very own. I hope you enjoy it. (I'm the one on the right. Our instructor, Andrei, is wearing the baseball cap. Eventually, this photo will only be of me but I haven't learned enough of the editing process yet.)
